How do Supporters redeem their Offers & eGift Cards at the Local Business?

An email is sent to you (and the person you bought it for if it was a gift) from eGiftia as soon as an Digital Discount eGift Card has been purchased. That email will includes a link to your our personal web page, which presents every offer from the Fundraiser Card you purchased.

A unique link is presented for each Discount Offer, which takes you to your personal redemption page. That redemption page is presented on your smartphone or tablet to the Local Business at the time of purchase. DO NOT push the Redeem Button before your purchase, as it will remove that offer and show it as redeemed. Only push the Redeem Button and show it to the Local Business as redeemed once you received the discount.

If you have purchased an eGift Card or Special Offer, the Local Business will enter the amount of your purchase to deduct and their pin number, and then click the Deduct Button. The amount of your transaction will be deducted from your original eGift Card value and any remaining value will remain on your eGift Card, and eGiftia will send you a redemption email.

Every purchase and redemption transaction will be displayed under the Redemption History section of your eGift Card page, so you will always know how much money is left on each of your eGift Cards. View A Sample Redemption PDF.

If someone prints out their email, the eGift Card redemption page, or brings in a Gift Certificate, the Local Business will simply scan the unique QR Code with any smart phone or tablet, and it will take them directly to the redemption page. The unique redemption page website address it also presented on the eGift Card pages and Gift Certificates.

After an Organization or Local Business signs up they will be sent a confirmation email from eGiftia with their login information. Once they login to their account they will be able to click on the Connect button in the main menu. They will be presented with a map that is centered to their Organization or Local Business address. From that center point, an Organization can search for Local Businesses and Local Businesses can search for Organizations that are within 4, 8, 16 or 32 miles from from them.

Once they locate a Local Business or an Organization they would like to Connect with, they simply click the Connect button and they will immediately receive an email from eGiftia to confirm your request. Once a Local Business confirms the Organizations request to Connect, the Local Businesses network offers will instantly be added to the Organization Fundraising Website.

If there is an Organization or a Local Business they would like to connect with, but they are not able to find them within the eGiftia Network, you can simply enter the Organization or Local Business Name and Email Address and eGiftia will send them a connection request from your Organization or Local Business.
